when I'm at home on the weekends i like to do a lot of things that require to be indoors. i like to watch a lot of Netflix.i like to see my favorite show(Supernatural)and see many movies. this is the one activity with the highest percentage because its a good way for me to distract myself and i like to watch different movies to learn new things especially in documentaries. My second highest one is Facebook. i use this a lot to communicate with my friends and far family members. Then I have KiK. this is more for my school friends. i text them during the weekends a lot to see how they are doing and if they have done their homework. I like to use Wattpad to read. I like reading new ideas that my friends create or other people my age. lastly i have Instagram. I use Instagram to see my family's pictures and post pictures of myself (when i look good. this helps me understand the mea ing of leisure because i know that there are multiple things people do on their free time. 

social media good vs. bad

Is social media a good or evil thing? 

social media is part of everyone life. there are positives and negatives to it. some of the positives is that it is a great way to communicate with other people. there are famous websites in which you can do this. one way you can do this is by Facebook and Twitter and also Watts-app. another thing you can do in social media is that is beneficial is that you can make new friends with them. Things such as Facebook is a very good way to make friends. you can find people that have things in common with you and you can actually have a friend if you don't have any in person. 

There are also certain things that are negative and harmful for people. some of these negative things are cyber-bulling, people exposure and distraction. for example many people are more aware of their messages and how many likes they get on their picture rather than seeing whats going on in the outside world. there has been cases of people getting bullied in the internet. many kids get death threats and rude comment on pictures that can end up having a very bad result such as someone killing themselves.Also theres many people (mostly girls) that get exposed on the internet. there are pictures posted or videos that can ruin someones reputation. 

There are many negatives and positives to social media depending on how much you use it.

selfies forever

Selfies are everywhere. people all over the world take selfless on a daily basis. Selfies are pictures taken by themselves usually in their phone. Selfies are most likely taken by women than men. many celebraties take selfies and they gain many likes and share. most do this to promoted themselves. People who take selfies also follow what celebraties do this and its mostly to gain likes too and sometimes because they are insecure.

is social media famous a good or bad thing?

i wouldn't want to social media famous because it can cause many things that you can end up regretting. An example of some disadvantages of social media fame is that almost all your friends/followers knows all your life and what u do or where you are. another disadvantage of social media fame is that certain people will have rude comments and that can make u have a negative image about yourself. Also although having many likes on a picture can give u confidence this can actually become a disadvantage because when u don't get the likes u expect u start to feel bad about yourself. Native VS. Immigrant

Theres a big difference between digital native and digital immigrants. A digital native is someone who is born in a way where a lot of technology is used and someone who knows how to work with it. A digital Immigrant is someone who is older and doesn't really know how to use a lot of technology and is more old schooled. I consider myself a native because i was born after the 1980s. Also i was born in a generation where almost everyone gets what they need and gets information from the internet or other technological devices. Many people from my generation communicate this way and use sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Skype, twitter,FaceTime, and other ones.

            should social media be allowed to use your users contct for owner purposes?

 

social media should not be allowed to use my information for owner purposes. i believe they shouldnt because not everything that is posted or written in messages because not everything that is posted is literal and there is a chance that people might take it the wrong way and later draw conclusions by just readig it. teenagers nowadays are very sarcastic and dont mean everything that they write so not everything stated is true. maybe people have phones and computers and other devices that can be tracked down. all thier information is in their phone and other people can use that and ruin someones reputation.
